Katie Couric just upticked a rung in my book. She just mea culpaed on 2003 war coverage

Excuse the mixed metaphor, but I'm pleased to see Couric come straight out and say administration pressure affected how the press covered the selling of the Iraq invasion in 2003 (and includied herself in that critique). Given the pressure corporate puts on their anchors, that's a pretty big admission.

Charlie Gibson, the supposed "elder statesman" of the big anchors said he'd do nothing different if he had it to do all over again. Brian Williams seemed to take a safe middle position.
