What do you think should happen?

On another thread we were discussing who should be held accountable for the crimes committed by the current administration.

Some suggested the GOP be disbanded, others would like to see all of them jailed--not just the neocons--even the people who voted for them!

I suggested a "truth" commission similar to what was done in Rwanda after the genocide (see links at the bottom). During my quick jaunt through Wikip*dia, I discovered that http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/006992.php">Talking Points Memo had already suggested it:

What this country will end up needing is something like a Truth and Reconciliation Commission because what the country needs is not so much for particular people to go to jail but for the lies and the lies to cover up earlier lies to stop. The country can't get past what has happened or move forward until we can get the truth on the table, deal with it and move on.

Now I ask the great minds of DU: what should be done to the following groups of people for their involvement in the great disaster that was the Reagan Revolution?

1. The elected officials
2. appointed (non-elected) government officials
3. the GOP
4. officers in the party
5. people who self-identify or who voted GOP
