3. thx for post
In the last few months I've seen this smarmy head of the FCC punk in his mid-30s stating he would approve relaxing media rules even though town meetings nation-wide objected to further consolidation. I hope the following is the show-stopper for that crap.

Senator Byron Dorgan (D-ND) has introduced S.J. Res. 28. This legislation would veto the FCC’s December 18, 2007 decision relaxing media ownership rules, which was presented to Congress as Report and Order FCC 07-216 on February 22, 2008. The vote has been postponed until April 24, 2008 in order to give the public more time to weigh in on the measure.

Until Dumbya is gone, and his corporate news conglomerate kiss-asses get the picture that "the Democrats are in charge now" (with 60 Senate seats), we're stuck with their crap to some extent. One positive thing to do now is avoid appearing on Fox News. Obama and Clinton should avoid Fox (NewsCorp) like the plague.

There should have been 2 to 3 explosive Woodward & Bernstein (Watergate-like) investigative stories of Bush admin crimes regarding Iraq by now. Instead we get the latest hollywood starlet DUI-fest or 24/7 childish bittergate trash talk. It sux.
