27. Regarding "The False and the Absurd" being False and Absurd
The False and the Absurd (OR Regarding "The False and the Absurd" being False and Absurd), a parenthetical commentary.

-------------
The False and the Absurd By Quin Hillyer 2/22/2008 11:59:00 PM
(Quin Hillyer is an associate editor of the Washington Examiner and a senior editor of The American Spectator, the people who brought you the Arkansas Project in black and white, but not read all over.)

As if the liberal establishment media isn't already embarrassed enough by the bizarrely thin New York Times hatchet job against John McCain

(Is that why it came out now, to hatchet job 60 minutes?)

now 60 Minutes comes along to run with an even less documented, and frankly far less believable

(Can't we decide for ourselves? or Can't your readers?)

hatchet job against Karl Rove -- without even asking Rove to respond!

(Hilarious lie.)

The whole story is not just sleazy journalism,

(Speaking for myself, I'm not claiming authority in this department)

it's whatever ranks below "sleazy" on the absolute scale of perfidy.

(Now you just want us to know you are connected to an online dictionary.)

On Thursday, the 60 Minutes web site began hawking

(What is it called when you promote?)

a feature to run on its show. This Sunday, an already discredited Alabama attorney named Dana Jill Simpson

(Are those attorney phones I hear ringing off to the South?)

(I have to say it, parenthetically of course, regarding "The False and the Absurd" being False and Absurd, well, "The False and the Absurd" is False and Absurd, and it may be slanderous. Crossing legal lines is not something new to the Arkansas Project mentality.)
