29. Let's hear it for the angry white man
Yes, they all have this incredible sense of entitlement for being at the top of the economic and social food chains. However, most of them haven't seen any of this entitlement in their working lives. It's only in the churches and at home that he has any sense of what he grew up expecting, the world at his feet and an uncomplaining, unpaid domestic servant to take care of him.

I don't wonder that they're angry. White males have taken the greatest economic beating of all, their wages falling while the wages of women and minorities rose a little. I just wish they weren't so blinkered and pig ignorant, blaming everybody but the people responsible for their predicament.

The GOP supplied them all with people to be angry at: women, minorities, undocumented workers, gays, abortionists, and the list goes on. Had the Democrats not turned conservative in 1969 and taken working class economic issues off the table, they might have gotten a few more sensible targets for all that rage.
