Call me cynical but I can't see anyone Mukasey appoints to investigate anything doing anything that would harm this administration.
The article itself says that stonewalling is all but inevitable and if anything comes close to looking like indictments of higher-ups or impeachment might come to fruition look for a nice little orchestrated attack(s)from those there terrorists to take our minds off of justice and ratchet up the fear factor for the coming election.
Prediction: Jose Rodriquez falls on the sword and gets pardoned by W.
