within a few weeks so we did know there was a film. However, if I recall correctly, "Life" did leave out some frames they thought were too graphic for the public. And, I think I've read that they transposed a couple of the more critical frames from the film. It was years before the film began to leak out to the public. I've often said if it wasn't for the Zapruder film we probably would have been told JFK had a massive cerebral hemorrhage and anyone who said differently was a nut.

You are correct, it would have been much harder to pull the murder off now - I suppose it would have just been done in a different way.
