Probably the most retrograde element of Hillary Clinton's and Barack Ogama's foreign policy platforms is the proposal to increase the Army and Marines by at least 80,000 troops (John Edwards has refused to join the "bidding war" over who can propose the largest troop increases).

While Edwards aims to strengthen the military, he doesn't believe sheer numbers are the only way to go about it.

Oh, and when asked if, as president, he would keep troops in Iraq, Edwards said NO.

I like Edwards more and more all the time.
