I'm at the later end of the boomers and it has become very clear to my children that the old fights for labor (unions), and the items that you mentioned will carry on to them as these issues just keep coming back around. Worker's rights are being gutted, racism is more alive than I've seen it since before Bush** took office, poverty has increased....

And Iraq is the same as Viet Nam in more than one way: the resources spent aren't available for fighting poverty, providing healthcare, education, nor anything that benefits society here or in the world.

I long for the day when these old struggles are resolved and we can finally move forward without surrender!
