Dear Representative Conyers:

I’ve donated to you in the past. You do not represent my district, but you are one of few in Congress who have represented my ideals.

I just gave to Rep. Kucinich, although he also does not represent my district.

I’m well aware, as I believe you are too, that far greater "probable cause" exists to believe that V.P. Cheney has committed high crimes and misdemeanors than for the vast majority of warrantless violations of the privacy of innocent U.S. citizens that have occurred under the current administration. Failure even to investigate these and the many other strongly indicated violations of U.S. law constitutes an open invitation to ever greater abuse.

The people cry out not for vengeance but for simple justice. Without it, no nation can endure.

The Constitution, one of the greatest achievements of human civilization, has been shredded.

It was your sworn duty to protect it. Please help stitch it back together.
