24. The Repubs want a knock down fight
Edited on Tue Nov-06-07 04:30 PM by Az
They want to debate the issue on the floor. They want to turn this into a media circus. And it is clear from the voting that the Dems are not up for a serious fight. They were voting to table the thing and it got reversed on them. Now they have to go and make the case for impeachment but they simply are not going to have the steam for it or the votes. And once they get their asses handed to them by the vote which will go against impeachment the issue of impeachment will be dead.

Unless the Dems get their shit together for once in this session they are going to blow it big time here and now. We just got played. And its because our "leaders" have been spineless toadies and have no freaking idea of what to do other than let the right have their way and hope they make enough mistakes to throw the elections the Dems way. Thats not a plan. Thats hiding from your own freaking shadow.

GROW A FREAKING SPINE DEM LEADERSHIP. YOUR FREAKING CONSTITUENTS NEED YOU TO DO YOU FREAKING JOB.
