What you say is true, but I didn't hear a moment of anger in the recording, and that didn't sounds like what he was describing, either.

He was telling his son to ditch the girlfriend, because they "use that word" around there and he's not willing to lose everything because "some f*ing n* heard us say n*"

Apparently, "Hey, I know! Let's stop using that word!" was not an option.
