The problem in Cleveland was, as in Flordia in 2000, chads. "Broken" punch card machines all over the county - in one precinct, all 7 machines were broken. Now you tell me how that can happen? My guess is that the chads were deliberately left in the machines, built up - or tampered with - so that styluses snapped, or chads were unable to be punched through the holes. The proof was in some precincts that had clumps of ballots with no presidential vote cast at all. Classic, easily accomplished, and totally ignored.

I'm getting pissed off just typing that.
