8. Unless you are in the European Union .. then the time change is TODAY!
Dr. D. called me from London Heathrow this morning. She said everyone there was totally confused about the time change from Summertime to Standard Time. I assume she meant the other Americans connecting at Heathrow.
I called her back at 10 am EDT (2 pm London) on her European cell number to make sure she was at her gate for the 2:30 pm departure to Bangalore. She was already on the plane.
So this week London is EDT +4. Next week it will be EST +5. That's exactly why aviators use GMT (UCT).
