On the other hand, Kucinich remains something of a voice in the wilderness; he doesn't have Gore's recognition factor, not by a long shot... they both have serious negatives to deal with, nearly all of them absolutely MANUFACTURED by the right-wing media--except for Gore's public capitulation and abdication of the position that should surely have been his back in 2000, had he fought harder for it... and this still irks me to this day; all I really know for sure about Gore is that he knows how to surrender in the face of nearly EVEN odds...
But that little hopeful voice within also dreams that perhaps Gore or Kerry will eventually return, stronger and smarter and better-organized than before, to claim what was stolen from them...
Hell, I'll be surprised if we even GET another election to vote in; I'm waiting for these fuckers to engineer another "surprise attack" on America so Generalissimo Butch and his neocon buddies can go to DefCon 4, declare martial law and put everyone's remaining civil rights into a "lock-box" along with whatever shreds of the Constitution they can still scrape up...
Until that actually happens though, I will continue to hope that Gore or Kucinich or SOMEBODY can still get in there and try and turn this sinking ship around...
