7. Couldn't link it now, but I remember some securities law change
proposed in 2002 - I remember laughing about it, is was so ludicrous. Whoever wanted the change cited 911.

For a while I kept a journal of the "most outrageous references to 911." In 2002, it buttressed just about everything.

In fact, it was a while before any public gathering could go without a reference to it. My niece's confirmation in 2002 included the Bishop talking about it. Any seminar or meeting you'd go to, someone would work it in.

Now it's faded a bit, and left to repuklicans.
