Because we make assumptions and Wallace (except Henry) and Thurmond could never have gotten the Democratic nomination for President and nobody like that could get it today especially with a process so dependent upon primaries.

Your argument is ridiculous because it is pointless. Yes, if the Dems nominated David Duke, you could play gotcha, but the Dems are not going to do that. Any argument that tries to get folks here who will support the party "no matter what" to admit that means supporting a David Duke is ridiculous and not helpful.

You know what they mean, it's obvious what they mean and you're just being thick.
