First...who can predict what shit sandwich this country will be eating a year from now. I don't expect things to get better. The bottom line is any Democrat is preferable to a Repugnican...PERIOD. I'll defer to the millions voting in the primaries as to whom the nominee will be and both support and probably work for that person.

There's too much at stake to let the GOOP have any real power. It's not just Iraq...it's SCOTUS, a woman's right to choose, health care, education, an economy heading into third-world territory, a crumbling infrastructure and more. Whomever takes over on 1-20-09 will have to be one hell of a good manager and able to tackle these problems from Day One. There's no "learning curve" here.
