A little story for you since all politics is local:

I live in Prince William County Virginia, famous for its draconian Immigration Law. This past summer the two Democrats on the Board of Supervisors from the Hispanic majority areas voted with the Republicans and against the immigrants.

Three months later the subdivisions where one of the Democrats is are full of yard signs for "Ramerez, Independent for Supervisor".

Moral of this story: People will only put up with so damn much before they pull away from a useless Party and start working in their own self-interest.

That's all I have to say. I don't engage in candidate bashing.
