I'm still fuzzy on that point you asserted. Because Mr. Manilow doesn't want to engage a nincompoop in pointless bickering, that hardly stifles anything. Or do you consider Ms. Hasselback's stand against g/l/b/t people just a shade of "gray" to be bandied back and forth? Mr. Manilow is not stifling anything; he's just not willing to engage with someone who doesn't recognize his right to exist. Not much gray about it.
