Reply #56: How does refusing to appear constitute a stifle?

I'm a little lost here; just because Mr. Manilow doesn't wish to appear on The View, that hardly constitutes a stifling. Ms. Hasselbeck is perfectly free to continue to hold whatever demented opinions she wants to. Barry Manilow just doesn't want to help her make money.

Oddly enough, for two people who are engaged in an existential struggle, it would appear that Mr. Manilow has a far clearer vision of his enemy than Ms. Hasselbeck does.
