If there are no celebrities because of her,
the show loses ratings.
If the show loses ratings because of her,
either it or she will get canned.

Manilow countered her in a very good way -- financially.
He doesn't need an appearance on The View to make money,
but The View needs people like him (broad popular appeal) for ratings
If more celebs follow his lead, the lost ratings, and ergo revenue, will make that vile and dangerous wingnut toast
