people think. There is a doctor in Texas, Dr. William Rea who treated some people injured by the pollution of 9/11. Their health improved. Now, he is under investigation by the Texas Medical Board because of anonymous third party complaints filed over five patients. The patients do not agree with the complaints. This is part of an attack on doctors who dare to treat people hurt by environmental events - large and small.
It is supposed that the complaints started when an insurance comapny (all patients had the same insurance) had access to medical records. Insurance companies do not want to pay for treatment period. They are likely being assisted by a band of doctors who have been doing this around the country. They work the medical boards, bankrupt the doctors and run them out of business, leaving people without knowledgeable medical help. Agent orange vets, Gulf War vets, 9/11 workers, oil cleanup workers in Alaska, farm laborers exposed to pesticides, people living near toxic waste sites, people with contaminated drinking water and more.
Landrigan is exposing himself to very real danger by standing up for the sick people. If he were to come up with viable treatments he will be toast.
