I was attending a College Board conference in Commerce, Texas, last week. The College Board is divided into regions, and our region contains Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Arkansas. The presenter had a slide on the screen with the number of participants taking last year's PSAT. All of the states mentioned had increases in participants, with the exception of Oklahoma.
The presenter then asked, "Does anyone know why there were less participants in Oklahoma than in the previous year?" And I chimed in, "Well, just take a look at who their senators are in Washington." There were some chuckles and some knowing looks, and I knew who possibly had the same leanings as me.
By the way, I have no room to talk when it comes to my senators, the North Dallas Bitch and Bushbot sycophant Cornyn. So, Oklahoma friends, I didn't mean to slam you.
