They'll do a 180 and proudly do all the things they now condemn war critics for doing. They'll say the war cannot be won, they'll say it's mismanaged, they'll even point out civilian casualties or crimes committed by US forces and say it's all ultimately the president's fault.

You just watch.

These Democrats who think allowing the Iraq occupation to continue will benefit them politically are in for a big surprise. It may gain them a few bloody points in the polls today (when they don't even need it), but it'll cost them everything after the next elections.
