4. I am proud to say
that I was threatened to be hauled in to the Galveston County jail because I refused to tell the "officer" who stopped me for "speeding" what I did for a living. At the time, I had conducted an informal survey with friends and discovered that the police only seemed to ask that question of females, which of course pissed me off. When he threatened to take me in, I just looked at him and shrugged my shoulders, like "well, that's that, then." He backed down immediately (I was thinking, does this guy want to walk someone into the station and whine, "she won't tell me her occupation!" ? We moved on to signing the damn ticket; when he saw that I was writing "under duress" after my name, he grabbed my (very thin) arm and the clipboard and yanked me halfway out of the car.

Later, at the jury trial, I beat the pants off the lying sack o shit. So occasionally their is a little justice to nosh on.
