40. "Hint: The "red neck" video was clearly a fake."
Apparently it wasn't clear to many people, as it was circulated around here and other places as being genuine. Whatever.

"1) He DID ask for the cop's name......and received it." Can you direct me to the portion of the tape where this occurred? I seem to have overlooked it. I never heard the citizen ask the name of the officer, but after four listenings, it seems the cop offered the name? Sergeant Kimmerling? Kimmerly? This is good... something to follow up on, eh?

"He was well on his way to getting a ticket" Nothing shows us that, no ticket was issued, whereby the incident could be confirmed in any way.

"3) A lot of people keep cameras in their vehicles for this very reason." Ok, I didn't know that. I don't think I know anyone at all who does.

"4) The kid is a moderator at Copwatch.com." I didn't know that either. Would you give me his name and where I can read that.

Interesting that the person you call "the kid" (he identified himself as a 20 year old man) managed to insert he'd been been "assaulted by a (drunk) police officer" and that "the City of St. Louis paid me not to sue". Usually people with such experience know enough to call it "a settlement out of court". You seem pretty familiar with this person, got a link to that?

Your comments of "little piggy's", "little piggy" and "pig" are not overlooked. I lived in Berkeley in the 60s, and know the use of it quite well.

If the video is legit, the officer must be fired forthwith.

Keep us updated on this, will ya?
