Many of those in small to midsize towns' police forces have been infiltrated by the KKK/White Supremacist movement. Probably not the first or last time its happened.

Columbia, MO city cops (home of Missouri University) are under investigation by the DOJ for police brutality, and its believed some of their members are active in the KKK.

Be careful, talk to an attorney and go after them if they violate your rights.
