Even if subpeonaed.

I don't see Harriet's ass in jail. And if anyone moved to so do, she'd be pardoned so quick our heads would spin.

Clinton's impeachment took a long time, too. The show didn't get started (and the investigations were spinning way sooner than the actual nuts n bolts) until fall, and it was Feb when he was let off the hook.

The GOP would be delighted, though. I think they'd see it as a rallying point for their beleaguered pretzeldunce. His polls would go up, I think. And the corporatists would be happy--they'd have their war to profiteer from for a few more months while the Impeachment Wheel was spun.

And Bush would be able to whine about "political persecutions." He'd flip the tale, and play the victim. And the corporate media would help him spin that tale. GE-MSNBC and all the rest, they'd shape the story to be seen as a political lynching...
