Travolta has expanded Divine's role without making the movie about him. He gives Mother Turnblatt a much bigger role and it's fabulous. Everyone in the movie seemed to be perfectly chosen for his or her part! There was well done satire about "Negro Day" and the way the "news" handled the march on the TV station! It reminded me of Faux News! LOL Excellent excellent movie!!  Gee, do you think I liked it or something? :-) |
