16. Yes and no
I still think it's a phenomenal device. But I don't generally need to be connected while walking down the street. Plus I don't want to pay $600. Plus I am a T-Mobile customer. Other than that, I'd love one. Like if someone gave it to me and someone paid the monthly charges, I'd be a totally happy camper, cingular service or not.

Speaking of communications, I recently downloaded Skype onto my and my husband's laptops. He was going to be out of the country for several weeks and I wanted to avoid the 99 cents per minute T-Mobile charge (T-Mobile is excellent if you want a phone that works in Europe or Asia). Skype was a great idea (you can talk computer to computer for free, or computer to phone for 2 cents a minute from ab road), except for the fact that my husband had no internet access at his hotel and was too busy to go searching out internet cafes. So we had two or three minute chats each day by telephone. I guess we're stuck in the old (new) technology. I still plan to find a good use for the Skype.
