... the dentist only work 4 days a week so they can golf the other day, but charge fees to support their full 5 days of the week. Most insurance will not cover it to their satisfaction either.
Doctors are not much better! Their office staff is huge so they can fight the layers of paper & the nurses that limit fees by insurance companies - kind of a self made empire on both sides that is never ending? Each side just keeps getting bigger & bigger...
Universal Health Care is a great idea, but by doing so, money is directly taken away from those who live a wonderful life style basking in their empires of their creation, so they will fight it tooth and nail (no pun intended) to keep it. Your right, we pay more & they live better than in other countries too. Or in your case, live worse, except maybe than in Africa or another poverty nation. But this is America, not a third world nation.
