It's a horrible racket. Just disgusting.


One minor inaccuracy in the film though. Moore at one point says that the US is the only advanced nation without free universal health care. He's right about the universal, but not the free.

Not all countries are free like Canada, UK and Cuba.

Here in Japan, I pay about $35 a month premium for medical and dental for my family of four and $4 for office visits. It's a good deal, but not quite free. And our premiums are low because my income is from outside the country, so I am treated as though I were very poor. Most people here pay around $100 a month for premiums for a family.


But I wouldn't go back to the US extortion system for the world. "Sicko" only made me even more sure of it.

I hope Sicko wakes people in the US up,
but not just in the US.

The US government and US corporationas are consantly pressuring Japan to privatize it's healthcare system, and to institute the pricing and denial systems described in the film.

Stay away from my healthcare, vampires!
