I am beyond disgusted with Hillary's comments today (assassination)

I'm sickened by the folks in GDP suggesting what I am feeling is fake outrage. Keith Olbermann's special commentary tonight brought me to tears. He was able to articulate exactly what I believe to be true. It is absolutely unforgiveable to even make reference to an assassination of a presidential candidate, given historical context, as a reason to remain in the presidential race.

To the mods and admins, I plead with you to get this under control in GDP. The emotions are very real. Allowing those to flame others with these real emotions is wrong. Wrong! Any peacemaking that has occurred over the past week or two is quickly going out the window.

I am reminded of Skinner's post after Obama's "bitter" comment, saying that the backlash against him for those comments had legs. That was fine, and he was right, but if the backlash against Obama's comments had legs then, the backlash against Clinton's comments today definitely has legs now.

When asked to clarify her comment on the Bobby Kennedy assassination as a reason to stay in the race today, Senator Clinton said, "Well I don't want to attribute motives or strategies to people." That reply is equivalent to "As far as I know," but with underlying tones of a possible life-threatening doom for Obama's candidacy. It is obvious that this has been her mindset for quite some time.

I am appalled, sickened and utterly shocked by Senator Clinton's display today.
