I would have more in common with the average citizen of almost any other nation on the
planet than I do with them. They had no problem tolerating Bush, his incompetence, failed
policies, illegal wars and failure to protect this country the one time it was demanded. But
of course he was white. I spent years banging my head against a wall trying to understand
why, why, why they didn't speak up then. I gave them far to much credit. Never again.
