Okay, a little history here. Back in 95 or so, Bennett saw a poster of Bart drinking a beer, and being the "family values" guy he was, challenged the moral implications. When called on it, he said "I'll debate Bart Simpson anywhere and any time." The creators of the Simpsons responded, "If Bill Bennett thinks he can debate a cartoon character, I'm more worried about drugs than beer." As a side note, the poster Bill saw was a bootleg, not authorized or approved of by the owners of the Simpsons copyright.
