This is interesting stuff, but realistically you aren't going to find anyone who has no bad ties in washington (maybe Kucinich). My point is that Hannity will be all over this, but will be willfully ignorant of the fact that Oliver North (his friend) has been tied to cocaine dealings in latin america.

So I would like to see this issue investigated to see if the ties are really any good or just superficial, but again all 3 candidates have ties that make them look bad. McCain only became a maverick after he was caught in the Keating affair issue.

As far as Obama being friends with a 60s radical, I don't care myself. I suppose I am in the minority for that, but it just doesn't bother me. What someone did 30+ years ago isn't too important to me.
