Thinking that corporations are going to get out of politics is just that- wishing for a pony.

Part of the politics of the possible is recognizing that corporate America is a fact of life- we are not going back to the days of the Psychedelic 60's or the Andy Griffith Show.

Most Americans dont want to go bak to the old days of failed economic liberalism from the 50's & 60's- Most Americans are now "Regan Democrats" who like getting products that are uniform and affordable ie corporate. Mainstream DEMS see this.

Most Americans know that their politicians get money and advice from solid corporate & chamber of commerce types. Most people are fine with it- they might even shrug their shoulders and say "thats the way it is-those are the people who take the risks an build our economy" I guess they failed to read DU or listen to Kusincih/Grayson/Nader speeeches, but these are the majority, mainstream voters that Obama & the DEM party have been courting.
