I can't stand either Haines or Burnett. Haines is a jackass, but Burnett thinks she is so cute she turns my stomach. And she made a stupid comment. I commend both the umpire and the pitcher for the way they handled what happened, but sports is not about graciousness. My grandson is a pitcher and if that ever happens to him, Grandma will be anything but gracious. Pitchers work hard for years to perfect their performance and Galarraga was robbed of a moment he probably will never have a chance to achieve again.
