It's endemic. At least a simple majority of people on here in any given day will tell you what someone else "thinks". You even see it in news reports from "reputable" outlets... "Venezuala is unhappy with..." as if an entire COUNTRY could have a single emotion.
This kind of thought structure is pervasive on DU AND FR alike. All they do is chavbe different targets and the subject matter: and it's so obvious I can't even believe I'm having to post this here!
