She was not a traitor. That war was even more foul than this war. And yes, the RW hates her. And as once again we fought a war without benefit of a declaration of war, Vietnam was not exactly an enemy for which aid could legally be considered treason. A mere technicality I'm sure, much better to keep catapulting the rightwing hate propaganda.

Since Americans, such as yourself, "who don't like traitors hate her" can you explain how movies like 'On Golden Pond', or even the recent 'Monster In Law' do so well while featuring this 'traitor'? I guess we have a lot of Americans who don't mind traitors at all living right here in the USA.

You really should consider where the 'Hanoi Jane' meme is coming from.

Next I suppose you think that Vietnam is somehow still holding POWs, 31 years after the war ended.
