I got rear-ended by an Escalade (same as the Tahoe I think) and 5 years later I still suffer from brain damage and partial paralysis in one leg. My car was destroyed; the car in front of me went airborne when mine was pushed underneath it. That car landed square on my roof, over my head. Two cars in front of that one were also hit. All had been waiting for a red light, except the Escalade.

Buy an SUV because they're safe.

By the way, the lawsuits outlived the driver of the Escalade. His car was almost untouched, but he spent the rest of his life in court. He died a month ago.
