18. I believe that the U.S. proved that it knew there were NO WMD's
by the fact that they launched the land invasion. They wouldn't have risked a total wipe-out of American troops by one or two nuclear blast. There was some preparation for a possible gas attack.
They knew that Iraq had NO defense whatsoever. Bush never attacks anyone who can fight back. North Korea has recently threatened a pre-emptive attack against the U.S and there was scarcely any mention of it. North Korea has at least a half-dozen nukes and missiles with at least 2,000 range.
That could be a real threat.
