I don't think she slammed the Dems that hard. Be honest, with all that has happened in the last six months, have any Dems "picked up the ball and ran with it"?

She was right on target regarding John Murtha's stand about Iraq. Mr. Murtha said what needed to be said and proposed an alternative. Not that I agreed with his alternative, but at least John had the balls to say what he thought out loud.

What happened, the likes of Rahm Emanuel more or less said "we'll take Mr. Murtha's comments under advisement". Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Rep. Emanuel the head of the Democratic Congressional Campaign? Hello Rahm, Iraq is a total disaster...

Dana Priest's expertise, from what I gather, is this country's foreign policies, but she was right about the health care plan in 1993. It was too complicated for the average American to understand and remember in 1993 there were many more American citizens that had "decent" health care and never thought that they would never be "priced out" of it...

Kentuck, Ms. Priest did make the point tonight about the Bush Administration's re-classifying historical documents as vital to national security that had been for years declared unclassified. She was making a definite point about that. If journalists and historians are denied access to these documents, what does that tell anyone??

I'm beginning to wonder what this administration will re-classify next as being "vital to national security". The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, Lincoln's Gettysburg Address? When is this BS going to stop? Okay, I'm overstating the obvious, but think about this seriously..

Bottom line, these documents in the National Archives belong to the American people. Our ancestors, our generation and the next bought, paid and died for them...Not that that matters to the current cabal in charge in Washington right now, they never had to do the fighting, dying, and coming home and facing what their government forced them to do.

All they had to do was sit in Texas and defend the skies over Houston or go to school in Wyoming and say "they had other priorities"...
