Seriously, that is par for the course--that occasionally he's going to get phone calls, e-mails, etc. that he doesn't like, that are insulting, even abrasive or rude (of course this call wasn't...just citing examples).

Imagine if everyone on tv that got insulting mail decided to have their security people call each and every viewer that sent an article of mail that "hurt their feelings..."

I recall Bryant Gumbel speaking of all the horrible stuff he got when he started (and occasionally still does), from white supremist types, calling him the n word and saying he didn't belong on tv, deserved to die, blah, blah, blah. Surely that would seem in appropriate for a security team imo. But he said if he let that stuff get to him, he'd never have left his dressing room.

What the hell is wrong with O'Reilly--pulling something like this?
