I am white and not rich, and went to university on scholarship based upon my grades. Sam Waterston, whose quote is my signature line, went to Yale on scholarship. There are plenty of scholarships for whites who need it. It makes sense to give scholarships to minorities, and I've never objected to them. What I do object to are people attending university and treating it like one 4 year long party, not attending classes, using their time to get drunk and pulling stupid stunts. Their space on the school rosters could be better used by someone who appreciates the opportunity university education affords.
