GET OFF IT with the "writers block". Does knowing that "writers block" is a 20th century invention by lazy drunken writers help? It's true! Use the google! IIRC I read this interesting tidbit in Art&Letters online or the New Yorker.

Try a tape recorder. Transcribe when you're blocked. Just do it.

That book ain't going to write itself, you know?
