15. When they refer to a return to the Gingrich republicans they forget one thing

Gingrich is pretty much the mastermind behind the neocons. He started all this shit, right down to the questionable ethics. I lived in Marietta, GA when Gingrich was speaker and he was constantly under investigation for questionable ethics. He's also the founder of the k-street project and the man who trained DeLay to be the crooked fuck that he is.

Gingrich fails the family values test as well, as most of us already know.

He's also the one who pushed mudslinging to a fine art. And Dems are just now beginning to use framing with any consistency. Gingrich pioneered framing with a list of words that Repugs were expected to use when talking about Dems (words like "radical", "liberal", "questionable", etc). He's one of the big reasons "liberal" is such a dirty word with Repugs.

He needs to be exposed for what he is before the Repugs succeed in regrouping the neocons under a new name, ie "Gingrich republicans".
