19. I tend to disagree
I think if we can get a majority in--we can effectively neuter him.
There are many other things that need immediate attention.
Besides--I WANT the stench of Bush to remain in office. We can convict him later.
Seriously--if we force the Republicans to clean up their party--by ousting Bush, Hastert, et al, then all we are doing is allowing them to say that they have fixed their problems and appeal to their base again. Let them rot. Let them ferment. Let's let the Dems show them how to fix things.
While 2006 seems as if Dems might get in the majority, 2008 could be a different story. Americans have short memories.
