Treaties are just things to be broken. Who cares that they are/were considered the "Supreme Law of the Land". If the person in office doesn't want to follow the "Supreme Law of the Land" then they just arbitrarily discard such treaty. The American Government can not be trusted..How does that make you as an American feel? The government represents you.....It is untrustworthy...
